Billing
OMS has skilled and knowledgeable billing specialists to help our patients with any questions or concerns they may have regarding payment.
Patient insurance information should be provided to OMS team members at the time of service. If insurance information can not be provided at the time of service, the patient or guarantor must contact OMS billing at (916) 932-2323 with this information prior to any scheduled appointment.
OMS is currently accepting payment for services from both private parties and select insurance carriers. Our ability to accept compensation through Medicare and Medi-Cal is pending approval from both state and federal agencies. Patients whose insurance policies do not cover Non-Emergency Ambulance Medical transportation or Gurney Transport should consider our flexible private payment options. Although full payment is required within 30 days of service, patients who are interested in a payment arrangement are encouraged to contact our billing department. Arrangements must be made within 15 days of invoice receipt.
OnSite Medical Service, Inc. currently accepts personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as methods of payment. Our patients also have the option to pay via phone or establish payment arrangements by contacting our billing department at (916) 932-2323.
Notice of Privacy Practices
24 hour notification of appointment cancellation or advanced notice of any changes to scheduled appointment times is required. Patients, patient guardians, and or facilities responsible for scheduling transports will be billed at the normal rate for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled transport. All transports that are cancelled but rescheduled for a later time/date within 24 hours of the scheduled transport will be responsible for 25 percent of the original quoted base rate in addition to all services rendered.
